ASSETS MANAGEMENT & CLASSIFICATION

Objective:
Classification of assets so that the assets are protected from any misuse and any kind of threats

Scope:
Restricted only with the dealings of assets like classification, labeling and handling etc

Desription:
All assets in different departments of KKI have been clearly identified and maintained through Assets Inventory List (AIL). Every department maintains their AIL

Every user of information assets/information processing facilities has been defined as an Owner of that facility under which that owner has been held responsible for the confidentiality, integrity and availability of his/her asset

The Acceptable use of assets is clearly defined and maintained in Assets Inventory List (AIL). The staff is restricted to the acceptable use only and any unauthorized use is considered as a security breach

The information assets handling is controlled through a defined classification mechanism and maintained through Assets Classification List (ACL). This classification mechanism restricts the use of information assets to authorized personnel and interested parties only
