What is ISMS?

It is a systematic approach of a company to secure its critical information from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, destruction, modification, or disruption.

The key concept of information security management systems (ISMS) is that an organization equivalently maintains and improves confidentiality, integrity, and availability of its information assets.

An Information Security Management System (ISMS) includes all of the policies, procedures, plans, processes, practices, roles, responsibilities, resources, and structures that are used to protect and preserve information. It includes all of the elements that organizations use to manage and control their information security risks.
