the world in order to keep the ball of activities of life rolling. To
bring the change, eagerness and desire - the desire should be a burning
one, are the key factors. He threw light on the fact that to bring a
change; organizations as well as individuals face the hazards, like that

by Mr. Amir Firoz Shamsi. He presented different models and theories of
change management and said that higher management is the foremost
responsible to implement a change in an organization. To clarify this
concept, he gave the examples of various organizations and corporate
entities. In order to keep the interest of the participants/ audience
alive, he used audio and visual aids as well. He presented the short
stories which aimed at enlightening the importance of change in our
daily lives.
Through the workshop, it was learned that a change is important not only
in the individual but in the organization as a whole as well. However
for a better change, the participation and involvement of all concerned
individuals is important because without it a change can not be made
successful. Before brining the change, it is necessary to evaluate
whether there is an actual need of brining a change or not. Without
proper evaluation, changes usually fail. The workshop was concluded with
the distribution of certificates by the key note speaker- Dr. Abdul
Wahab. |
